By Firstly; we will start by having an overview on what modern love entails and how it is in our current societies. Modern love is all leveled on status, level of income, how one carries him/herself, its also judgmental and last but not least its all about the physical outlook of the other person.
If one has money but treats the other with disrespect or no affection the person will still live with him despite all that. Another study that I saw is modern love its mostly controlled by social media. people out here are filled with the idea that love is not all that that people say and people direct themselves to be what they see in the media and not themselves.
Secondly; we will discuss more about old school commitment more so in relation to its source old school kind of love. Old school commitment is mostly entitled to a thing called discipline between two partners. It’s all about genuine love passion and ready to be with the other half through the highs and lows. [that’s where the difference comes in between modern love with old school commitment].
Old school commitment doesn’t necessarily care about status or anything all it cares about is being together with your partner in any situation present and always choosing your partner even when there is darkness and options.
In what we have discussed and looked; we can confirm modern love and old school commitment can never mix ‘because if modern love means that when your partner is totally down you can go to the next then that is not a healthy kind of relationship which you can put with old school commitment cause that means one will suffer more and that’s not love.
That’s why on my take and the research done in comparison of modern love and old school commitment is that those two can never mix whatsoever
