The Silent Battles Women Face

The Silent Battles Women Face

When God created the first people on earth—a man and a woman—He gave them different roles and responsibilities. A man was instructed to love his wife, lead his family, and work hard, which is why the ground was cursed for his sake. On the other hand, a woman was created to respect her husband, be submissive to him, and bear children. From the beginning, the woman’s path has been filled with unique and painful challenges that are often overlooked and underappreciated.

One of the first battles women face is the pain and discomfort that comes with menstrual cramps. Every month, many women endure severe pain just to maintain their natural cycle. This is followed by the pain experienced when breaking virginity, a moment that is rarely discussed openly but leaves a lasting impression on many women. The journey does not get any easier as women go through pregnancy—a season filled with its own difficulties like morning sickness, emotional instability, physical exhaustion, and constant worry for the unborn child.

Childbirth itself is one of the most painful and life-threatening experiences a woman can go through. The strength required to bring a child into this world is beyond imagination, yet women face it bravely. Even after childbirth, the challenge continues as women take on the responsibility of caring for the baby day and night, often sacrificing their own rest and comfort for their children’s well-being.

Unfortunately, it is during this vulnerable time that some men become unfaithful. Many women are left to deal with both the physical pain and the emotional betrayal from their partners. Some men also push for a 50/50 financial contribution at home, ignoring the unpaid work women do through house chores, cooking, and child care. The demand for equal financial responsibility seems unfair when the additional burdens women carry are not acknowledged or shared. Worse still, some women face abuse from the very men who should love and protect them, simply because they are seen as weak.

Despite all these battles, women choose to stay strong, often for the sake of their children. They tolerate pain, betrayal, and exhaustion, driven by the desire to build a better future for their families. The sacrifices women make daily, both seen and unseen, are a true mark of their resilience and unmatched strength.
